Jack Tomsky, Ph.D
About Us

Jack Tomsky earned his Ph.D. in statistics from Stanford University, an M.S. degree in mathematics from New York University, and a B.A. degree in mathematics from City College of New York.    He has worked at Bristol Myers in pharmaceuticals, IBM in reliability, Lockheed Martin in statistical models, and Dade Behring in medical devices. 

In addition, he has done independent consulting involving a variety of clients.  Various projects have included developing Empirical Bayes acceptance sampling which sharply reduced inspection costs, development of accelerated degradation models to determine expiration dating, and derivation of linear discrimination models for use in day trading in the stock market.
